Podcasts, Blogs, & Wiki's...Oh My!
This hands-on class will help general music teachers develop strategies and tools to support students in technology-based composing projects. Participants will create and use collaborative Internet-based tools including podcasts, blogs, and wikis to support and extend their own technology-based collaborative compositions. Application of these tools in settings from upper elementary through high school general music classes will be shared and developed. How to create meaningful and authentic creating experiences with technology, along with arts-integrated composing projects will also be shared, discussed and developed.
Creating, recording, and producing an original podcast
- Compose theme music

Build a wiki for your class
Create a personal blog
- Add personal reflections of process
